The breeding grounds of Flareon are in deep caveswith temperatures around 100-150 degree celsius in order to provide the preferred environment for raising their young. Eggs are paced in steam vents in order to climatize the young before they are born. Fire stones are common in this environment.

When a egg hatches it is born as a flareon, due to the surrounding fire stones. IF it hatches as an eevee, the young eevee will unfortunately die to a heat stroke. Successful hatches are rare, at around 1 in 29 eggs hatching. Only 1 in 100 young flareons will survive to see maturity. A patrol is assigned into the egg grounds to ward off any hostile visitors.

The last known flareon nest was eradicated due to mining 20 years ago.
